so why do you care about animals so much? why do you put so much of your life and your resources towards helping them? they'll die eventually anyways--what's your stake in it?
No one on that post said that plants were conscious, your reply makes no sense whatsoever?
"also plants want to live, too. they have self preservation and try to defend themselves and live long healthy lives."
Ok. If you say so.
being a vegetarian is not "anti animal rights". not everybody can sustain a vegan diet. i'm allergic to gluten and can't consume any form of sugar leaving fruit out of the question as well as i can't eat anything that promotes yeast (rice, corn, nuts/seeds etc). i don't consume dairy or meat but i do eat eggs because i need food variety in any form i can safely get. also plants want to live, too. they have self preservation and try to defend themselves and live long healthy lives.
being vegetarian is about as good for animals as being a carnist is, you may not want to get lumped in with them but that’s exactly were you belong. get that weak, excusitarian bullshit outta my face.
If you ‘couldn’t consume any form of sugar’ you’d be dead. Why do people feel the need to lie? Just admit you DON’T WANT to go vegan.
Plants don’t have wants. Their self-preservation tactics are not conscious in any way. Jebus.
